So, this song, must of played every single time that we got into the car during the holiday! Not exactly the sound of the summer (i.e. something you want to dance the night away too) but still, a cute song! I brought this dress on a crazy shopping spree in Forever 21 in America- everything is so much cheaper there and I couldn't resist this dress (oh and the bag too- opps!) We went for a walk and breakfast in a beautiful old town near Marbella, it was gorgeous! And by breakfast, I mean pastries and café con leche- perfect!

A medley of photos to describe one of my days in Barcelona last week! We went to the best restaurant in town which only serves fresh fish and seafood. Its a bit like a market in that you have to queue up and have your ingredients weighed before they go and cook it for you, which adds to the whole atmosphere! Definitely one of my favourite places to eat ever, and it gets very busy very quickly, people just can't get enough of it!

Also I left you guys with two photos of the cutest dog in town, my auntie and uncle's dachshund, Dora, she is such a cutie, I miss her!

Morning guys :)

Here are a few pics of the second day of our weekend away to Worthing. As you can see the weather was pretty shitty therefore i doubt we can call this an outfit post...due to the ridiculously attractive rain jackets we're sporting. 

Nevertheless, we made the most of a horrific day, seeking refuge in  cafe and chugging english breakfast tea and scoffing Red Velvet and Chocolate fudge cake. After we'd consoled ourselves with numerous cups of tea, the sun actually came out! Such an amazing end to the day, where the sun got to our heads and we had a miniature rave on the sandy beach!

At the end of our relaxing and spontaneous trip to the seaside we were sad to leave the beautiful seaside views, the fresh air... and of course the arcade which we were becoming addicted to :)

We really recommend you check out worthing, come rain or shine!

Hey all,

These outfits were taken on the sunniest day in England this year, it was lush! And, as you can see we both braved skin tights and bare arms! It makes me realise how much I love summer fashion and the simplicity of it (no matching outfits to coat needed!)

We have officially entered the dreaded exam time that has been slowly creeping up on us for the past couple of months. Me and Jess both had Spanish and French oral exams this week, which has to be one of the most terrifying exams ever invented... the voice recorder alone brings back many memories of dodgy Spanish improvisation and awful verb conjugation! Good luck to anyone else sitting exams at the moment!

We received our invite from the lovely people at company and the thought of the company blog awards event in a few weeks time is getting us through exams- we are so excited! Now just the question of what to wear... ideas very welcome!

Its still not too late to vote for us for 'Best Teen Blog', we would be so thrilled!! (page 8)

In other news we also got voted as joint head of sixth form for next year by our year group, which we are so excited about! Re-vamping the common room is number one on our list! Time flies!

 So the weekend brought with it the lushest weather imaginable!! The kind of weather that makes every sun deprived person in Britain go crazy mad and go out onto the streets in next-to-nothing. Nevertheless it was such a gorgeous day and me and Jess spent the afternoon with some iced coffees and a cinamon pretzel to share (sorry for the lack of foodie pictures as you can probably imagine it was gobbled up before I could get my camera out of my bag!!) Jess wore her toothpaste kisses tshirt that I made her for her birthday- which was perfect for the spell of hot weather- and so I thought I would use a lyric from what is possibly the most beautiful song ever written.

 

On the subject of sunny weather I am still searching for the perfect sunnies, has anyone picked up a nice pair recently?

'Helicopter'- The Feeling

Hey everyone!
These are some photos from our second last day at Cornwall. In the morning, we went to the beach :) We then decided to take a bus into the city of Truro, the journey down to the bus stop was an adventure in itself, what we were told was a two minute walk, ended up being a 30 minute hike, down near- empty streets and country lanes, but it was really nice taking in the scenery!

We finally managed to get the bus to the city, which was beautiful with it's cobbled streets and cathedral, it aslo had a Topshop (which is always a bonus! :)) In the evening, we went for a Pub meal which was soo nice! Being near the sea, they had loads of fish options which was really handy for me, being a newly converted pescatarian (nearly four months now, yay!)

Eurovision Euphoria

Eating scones in the afternoon :)

Hey everyone! WOW, two weeks ago, in the freezing cold, I would never have guessed that a week later I would be lounging in the garden in shorts, and slopping on the suncream! The weather has been absoutely amazing, I haven't even let exams get in the way of enjoying the sun!

Last week, was Eurovision weekend (definitely one on the funniest weekends of the year!) I went round to Jess's to watch the show, and it didn't dissapoint! As well as the usual laugh out loud, euro pop songs, there were actually a couple of really good summer songs in there, that I have been playing on repeat while revising in the sun :) As you can tell by the title, the winning song from  Sweden  'Euphoria by Loreen' was defintely one of my faves!

So, I thought I would leave you with a couple of pics :) Next week is half term! which means no exams, and also, The Maccabees concert at Alexandra Palace which we are sooo excited about! :) Have a great rest of the week!

My jumpsuit has to be one my favourite pieces in my wardrobe, I wore it to death last summer, and I think this summer I will be doing the same! It is really comfy, but the strapless design means that it can be dressed up as well :D
Jess's dress is really summery, because of the watermelon print! and she had watermelon nails to match! :)
