Hey Guys!

So we haven't been up to much recently, which explains the lack of posts, we've both been hermits revising. Paloma's got an exam on Monday, she'll do great, but keep your fingers crossed for her :) we've both got our english exams on the 6th which HAVE to go well, my mind is entirely quotations right now.

We did you something quite exciting, you could say… we went to see Arctic Monkeys play at Finsbury Park with some of our true faves, Royal Blood, Miles Kane and Tame Impala. It was officially the best gig ever, we were right at the front! Felt as if we were in touching distance of Alex Turner. There were so many mosh pits, which we love and the best music to accompany some of our mad dancing.

I couldn't recommend seeing all of these guys highly enough, they're all incredible live and really work the audience…even if it is to the extent that I get a black eye, at least its a memory :P

Speak to you all soon!

Do you still feel younger than you thought you would by now

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the slightly melancholic title, it was just too appropriate not to use. Its a lyric from my favourite Arctic Monkeys song, of whom we will both be seeing come Saturday at Finsbury Park (the thought of Alex Turner within reach is a little too much to handle), and also, today was our last of sixth form ever, and I definitely feel too young to be leaving my school and friends of seven years behind. On a less sad note we still have prom to look forward to after exams so we'll be seeing everyone again very soon :)

The sunny weather spell is not so sunny anymore but we are hoping it will brighten up again so we can take more summery outfit photos like this one!

Have a great week!

Loads of love,

Hey all!!
What a beautiful weekend it's been, well in the UK anyway :) We've both been pretty much housebound due to revision, which always kills the mood, but we still both get out into the garden to attempt to catch some rays.

It's our last week of school this week, which bring some form of joy, but also so much sadness as we will both miss it so much, oh yeah and means that exams are too close now. We both turned up to school in again accidentally coordinating outfits. I am loving the bohemian/hippy/festival look at the moment and have bagged myself numerous pairs of comfy harem pants to wear at Benicassim this year.  We styled the harem style trousers, these are both fairly smart and tapered as harems go, with crop tops. This would probably be the only rule, don't wear a severely oversized tshirt with these trousers or it will probably swamp you.

Anyway, we're both really excited for the last day as it's a tradition that the whole year dresses up in their old school uniform, to reminisce over the good old days. Also, we're both so terrible at procrastinating and always end up looking at prom hair and make up tutorials on Youtube, have you guys got any good ideas???

Speak to you soon, Jess xxx

Hey all,

So we managed to sneakily snap these photos in a rare glimpse of sun in-between torrential downpours today! We are ploughing though our second week of sixth form ever (ekk). We have both been at our school for the full seven years so the thought of leaving is both exciting and slightly terrifying. Well if I don't get into uni I am definitely going to go searching for a job which involves food (read:cakes) as after English lit and art it is up there with my main passions in life ;)

Good luck to everyone doing exams, we will both be finished ours in just over a month so freedom is in sight finally!

Did anyone else watch Eurovision on the weekend? It is definitely my favourite guilty pleasure, although it doesn't come as a surprise considering I love anything slightly cheesy or musical, so the combination of the two is a winner for me!

Loads of love, Paloma

Hi there!
Another apology for lack of posts, they seem to be getting quite regular :(
We've both been knuckling down to revise over the last month, but by the 16th of June, it'll be over for both of us, we cannot wait!

We've also been organising our joint 18th, although Paloma's Birthday in August, and mine was in April, we had to have a party together.
If you've read our blog for a little while, you'll be able to see that we love fancy dress and spend weeks in prep for our costumes. After much deliberating, we decided on a Fairytale theme, this includes Disney, Hans Christian Anderson tales and Grimm Brothers tales! It sounds like an 8th party not an 18th.

Today we took a break from revision to start getting our costumes together. Paloma is going as Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notredame and I'm going as Thumbelina (the traditional character, not the disney, they ruined that for me)
What would you guys go as?

Lots of love, Jess xxx
