D'you want to go to the seaside? I'm not trying to say that everybody wants to go...

The Kooks- Seaside

Hey guys here are some pictures of our third day in Cornwall, when we went to Newquay, Fistral Beach and looked around the town centre. Its a lovely place and we really enjoyed being at the seaside! We had some really nice milkshakes, mine was toffee crisp and Paloma's was Custard Cream...they were lush! The picture at the top is our attempt at making sand sculptures, Rapunzel and Ariel, like our leavers day costumes (a few posts back).

'In 5 Years Time we could be walking round a Zoo'...

Hey Everyone :)

Here is day two of our Cornwall holiday. We went to the Eden Project, where we saw the Vaccines and Noah and the Whale gig the night before. Although it's 'all about plants' and very eco-friendly (you would think it would be quite boring for a group of young girls), it was actually really fun and seeing the variety of flowers and trees was really interesting! Our fave part was the waterfall, it was odd to see a man made waterfall, inside the biome :)

 Noah and the Whale :)

Hey all! Sorry we havn't posted in ages! We have just got back from a holiday in Cornwall with our sisters which was so much fun! To make up for lack of posting, we thought that we would do a post a day, showing our outfits and what we got up to :)

On the first day it was pouring with rain, we went to the Eden Project Music sessions to see the Vaccines and Noah and the Whale who were both amazing! It was one of the best gigs I have ever been to, the atmosphere was electric and not even the rain could dampen the spirit!! The Vaccines were so good live and we would reccomend them to anyone looking for some new music for summer :)

lots of love, Pom and Jess xxx

We met Arni, the gutarist from the Vaccines after the gig :)

  Hey all!

Yesterday we went to Camden town, to check out the market there. As you all know we cannot get enough of Portebello market but we thought it would be good to check out another market to see what it was like, it didn't dissapoint! We found some great bargain buys and would really reccomend a visit! There are some great vintage shops too, and a huge amount of food stalls, which I found very very difficult to resist, in particular the deep fried oreo stall, sounds so wierd but soo nice at the same time! :)

Big hugs, Paloma xxx

Wimbledon :)

 Hey Everyone!
Yesterday we went on a day tripto Wimbledon to watch the tennis. Wimbledon is England's biggest Tennis championship and we really wanted to check it out! We queued for a couple of hours in the morning sun and the time flew by. We were ticket number six thousand and something but we still managed to get in which was great! It was so gorgeous inside the grounds and there were so many people :)

We watched a match on court 19, Troicki v Klizan, it was so exciting and the atmosphere was amazing (even though you have to stay pretty quiet during the match, there were several 'ooohs' and 'ahhs' at the exciting parts in the game and everyone was so nice!)  Also, what made it even better is that I am hopeless at tennis, (and most other sports as well!) so bad, that I can barely hit a ball so watching how fast these guys could hit the ball was AMAZING! But sadly the rain came, and play was suspended for a couple of hours(not that we wern't expecting it, wimbledon is famous for its rain after all!, so it added to the experience :)) Troicki won the game, so we were all happy, and it was a great end to an amazing day!

'We Grew Up at Midnight'- The Maccabees

Hey All! This has to be the longest we have gone without writing a post! and it feels awlful! These past two weeks has been crammed with exams and a final push for revision, but, summer has officially begun! and exams are over! YAY, loads more blog posts to come!

Two weeks ago now, me and Jess went to see The Maccabees performing at Ally Pally, it was the most amazing experience and when we came out we were buzzing and literally didn't want it to end! I have never been to Alexandra Palace before, but it was such a  great venue and amazing atmosphere! We were at the very front and really recommend the support acts, Baxter Dury and British Sea Power. The Maccabees were so good live, even better than they are on CD- if thats even possible! There was a giagantic mosh though, so we had to move back a little to have a breather!

Look out for upcoming posts! Hopefully we will pick up some bargains on the weekend in the sales and also in Portebello (we can't get enough of the place!!

Have a great weekend everyone! I'm looking forward to the football Euro Quarter- finals, who is everyone backing? xxPaloma xx
