Worldwide Wardrobe

Hey everyone,

We thought we would have a go at entering Travel Supermarket's competition, Worldwide Wardrobe, reason being we love creating outfits so much and if there is a chance of winning a holiday we don't need any more convincing!

We created four outfits, hope you enjoy!

Lots of love, Paloma and Jess xxx

Sightseeing in Paris- £186.57

We wanted to channel Parisian chic through this outfit, clean cut and classic, starting with a canvas of blue and white, and accessorising with complimenting bright red accessories and statement lip and necklace

Jeans Shoes Bag Earrings Necklace Nails Hat Shirt

Shopping in London- £192

Shopping can be so tiring so we wanted to create a light and comfy outfit whilst also hitting some of the season's key trends. This gorgeous floral printed playsuit is the perfect solution and will get you through the hustle and bustle of oxford street whilst also proving useful in the windy and unpredictable British weather! Plus flat edgy boots for all that walking!

Partying in Ibiza- £186.47

This outfit is all about the neon, because there is no better time to kick out the brights than a party! The pops of pink and yellow add further fun to the outfit and the small bag is perfect for a girl's essentials. Also, wedges over heels, they still give you the height but are so much more comfy, and you can dance the night away!

Top Skirt Shoes Bracelets Bag Lips

Cocktails in New York- £94.49

Monochrome has to be the most classic and stylish of all this season's trends so what better way to wear this trend than cocktails in New York! This gorgeous 1950s inspired dress with flirty lashes and white accessories is a killer combo for cocktails in the city!

Holiday in Paris- Day Two

Here is the second part of the recap from our little holiday in Paris a couple of weeks back now (how I wish I could jet off back there today!) We visited the Lourve, and walking around I couldn't help thinking that I was on set in the Davinci code, every inch of the building inside and out was beautiful and intricate, and just as breathtaking as the paintings themselves. We of course could not visit Paris without a trip to Laudree, to gaze at the hundreds of macaroons adorning the shelves, some of the displays were like pieces of art themselves! Our day finished with a trip to the eiffel tower and a boat trip along the Seine at night  (its funny seeing the tower in real life as it literally looks like someone has picked up a toy one and just dropped it in the middle of Paris, nethertheless it was absolutely stunning!)

Torso of the Week- Everything Everything

Bonjour Paris- Day One

Last week we got back from an amazing couple of days in the beautiful city of Paris, having never been to Paris previously (unless Disney Land counts, which I very much doubt!) I was keen to explore one of the most fashionable places on earth, and attempt to speak French, though I didn't even make it to GCSE level so maybe scrap that last bit.

As soon as we landed, and had dropped off our bags at the hotel (because there was no way we were going to lug that about whilst sight seeing, because naturally we packed for seven days rather than three!) we visited the stunning views of the Sacre Coeur and had a wander round the 'arty' part of the town, where we were practically followed by street artists wanting to draw our caricatures, with a little running and broken up french we managed to get oursleves out of it though!

We ate some delicous waffles, (with nutella of course!) whilst taking in the sights, but had to akwardly finish them off on the metro, I have got to say the stations were SO packed and chaotic that it made me miss the London underground and I never thought I would say that! We finished off the day with two cups of tea from a gorgeous, bustling Parisian cafe and a yummy dinner of veggie burger and of course a general helping of frites!

Hey!

or should I say 'bonjour!', less than a week till we are off to Paris for a couple of days, I am so excited as I have never been before, any reccomendations of where to go whilst in the city? Its going to be freezing which calls for a lot of layering, I am such a poor suitcase packer, and always manage to buy too much so that it can't fit in on the way back, opps!
Both me and Jess opted for skirt and jumper combos today, something which seems to be making a constant re-appearence in my wardrobe these days, I think it may be beacause you can create so many different combinations, which is always a bonus! Jess mixed burgundy and tweed in her outfit, creating a great winter look, as for me, well I am rarely seen without my scarf these days, its too cold!

Lots of love, Paloma xxx

New Years EveFirst Love - The Maccabees

Hey everyone :)

How is everyone in the new year? I'm feeling quite stresses at the moment due to some exams at school which have detracted from the fun of the Christmas holidays due to an excessive amount of revison.

A positive thing that keeps me going is Paris. At the end of January, Paloma and I are going to Paris to attend a business conference and of course doing some sight-seeing :) This will obviously be a great opportunity to take some pics and will definitely be a future post on the blog.

Back to now, on New Years Eve, due to our families being so close, Paloma's family kindly invited my family to bring in the New Year at Paloma's house. It was so much fun! There is something about a family New Year that just beats one with entirely your friends. Luckily we manages to take some outfit pics of the day before having one too many rum and cokes :)

What did everyone do on New Years and What are your plans for 2013?

Loads of love, Jess xxx
