Put a penny in the slot and make an artificial light shine....

Wow, it sure has been a while hasn't it!
First and foremost i want to apologise for abandoning my lil baby (that's the blog for any of you who were wondering). Here is my very legit excuse...iv'e been raving it up in a tent with a hangover for the past couple of days. Not as glam as your average blogger is it? Reading Festival has royally taken it out of me, as i've been asleep for the past 4 days - felt like Sleeping 'not so' Beauty :)

Well, here is a quick lil post from when i went on holiday with my family to Cornwall to ride some waves. During the day, when on occasion, the sea was flat for as far as your eyes could see, the fam and I would be all touristy.
Here are some pics of our cheesy family love on a day out on the Cornish golden sands.

I'll be posting my Reading pics soon, they're being developed, fingers crossed :)
Loads of love,
Jess xxxx

Wake up, would you like to come with me? Honey, take a run down to the beach...

Let's Go Surfing - The Drums
Hey guys!
I'm finally posting, and believe me, i've missed this!
It feels like we have been out of the blogging game for AGES, but we both have our feet solidly on British turf and are not leaving the rainy Isles for the forseeable future :)

So, if you read the last post, while Paloma was off in sunny Spain, I abandoned my plans to go to Rome, due to the prices for last minute holidays (I wish I was more organised) being through the roof. Instead, to console myself, I decided to head over to oh so familiar Cornwall on a Surfing holiday. Accompanied by my family, we said that this is the last family holiday for a long time, as two teenage girls and parents can cause a lot of bickers.
But if you know me, you'll know that my love for the atlantic waves is so great that I had a fantastic time! Every morning, i'd wake up, grab my wetsuit and board and head down to the beach for a full morning of surfing. In the afternoon, sometimes i'd do some shopping or sightseeing with my family, so i wasn't completely abandoning them :)
On this afternoon in particular, the waves weren't so good and it was drizzling with rain now and again, typical. My family and I, yes, including my dog, popped into the beautiful St. Ives and had the most delicious cream tea.
Love to hear from you all,
Jess xxx

Come along for the ride, cola bottles and a sherbet rocket.

Oh Atoms - Sugar Mouse

Hey all you lovely people :)

Here are a few pictures of how we spent our last day in cornwall. We went to a beautiful town called St Ives. It was right on the coast and although it wasn't too sunny, it didn't rain either :)

We spent the whole day there, looking at shops (mostly the sweet shops, selling lots of Cornish Fudge in all different flavours) eating cornish pasties and ice-creams (mine was strawberry cheesecake, with a scoop of clotted cream and a fudge twist. It was delish, but i felt sick after a while :S

To top it all off, we saw a seal, it came right up to the pier and smiled for all the cameras. We called him/her flubber :)
