Hey all,

So we managed to sneakily snap these photos in a rare glimpse of sun in-between torrential downpours today! We are ploughing though our second week of sixth form ever (ekk). We have both been at our school for the full seven years so the thought of leaving is both exciting and slightly terrifying. Well if I don't get into uni I am definitely going to go searching for a job which involves food (read:cakes) as after English lit and art it is up there with my main passions in life ;)

Good luck to everyone doing exams, we will both be finished ours in just over a month so freedom is in sight finally!

Did anyone else watch Eurovision on the weekend? It is definitely my favourite guilty pleasure, although it doesn't come as a surprise considering I love anything slightly cheesy or musical, so the combination of the two is a winner for me!

Loads of love, Paloma

Hey all,

Red is a great colour, and one that I probably don't have enough of in my wardrobe. So, with it being the month of love and all (haha cringe) we thought we would style this underrated colour to brighten up our winter wardrobes.

It is half term this week for us so that means catching up on sleep, tv, work and friends! These photos were taken yesterday on a mega shopping trip to get our ice costumes sorted. We are all done with the help of some spray on glitter, stick on jems and two tiaras (yes we went there!) We will show you guys our costumes on Friday!

Loads of love, Paloma xxx

Twist On The Trend - First Love, Last love, Only love, it's only love

1) Lizzie from Dust on the Ground, 2)Paloma from Cos It's the Bee's Knees
 3) Rachel from A Girl from the Countryside, 4) Jane from The Tale of Two Buttons

First Love- The Maccabees

Hey everyone!

Here is this week's Twist on the Trend (where a bunch of us bloggers style the same trend in different ways!). This weeks trend was Band tees, which I absolutely love! And looking at how well the other girls styled them, they are definitely a versatile item and a must have in any wardrobe! (and they have such good music taste!)

Paloma is wearing a T-shirt which she made herself using fabric pens. It has the lyrics on it from her favourite song, First Love by The Maccabees.
Vest top-Forever 21, Maxi skirt- Peacocks, Shoes- Primark.

Jess is wearing a Vaccines tshirt which she bought from their online merchandise store (it had a picture of the Vaccines on it and is from one of their tours...they are amazing!)
Top- Vaccines Merchandise, Trousers- New Look, Cardigan- River Island, Shoes- Primark.

Band t-shirts is a major trend this season. Whether it's Ramones, Nirvana or The Rolling Stones, vintage band t's are perfect for this chilly but not freezing weather, when you cant be bothered to make an effort but still want to look casual-cool. These can be teamed with anything from slouch jeans to maxi skirts depending on the look you're going for.
What are you waiting for???? Go out and get one as they NEVER go out of fashion :)

Loads of love, Jess and Paloma :) xxx
