Hey all,

So we managed to sneakily snap these photos in a rare glimpse of sun in-between torrential downpours today! We are ploughing though our second week of sixth form ever (ekk). We have both been at our school for the full seven years so the thought of leaving is both exciting and slightly terrifying. Well if I don't get into uni I am definitely going to go searching for a job which involves food (read:cakes) as after English lit and art it is up there with my main passions in life ;)

Good luck to everyone doing exams, we will both be finished ours in just over a month so freedom is in sight finally!

Did anyone else watch Eurovision on the weekend? It is definitely my favourite guilty pleasure, although it doesn't come as a surprise considering I love anything slightly cheesy or musical, so the combination of the two is a winner for me!

Loads of love, Paloma

We fell in love, alone on a stage

Reflektor- Arcade Fire

Dress- Topshop, Shoes- Primark

Hey everyone,

Here are our outfits that we wore on Friday to our friend's 18th! We both wore dresses from Topshop (just a coinsedence we promise!) It was a really good evening but made us both feel so young (especially Paloma being an august baby!). It sparked a few ideas for our 18th. Yes, we're doing a joint party, believe me, it's expected amongst our friends! To fancy dress or not to fancy dress, that is the question. What do you all think!

Parties on the brain right now though, who's feeling festive already?! I am! I love christmas, everyone is always chirpier, the christmassy baking, the constant smell of cinnamon and crisp cold air which turns your fingertips into icicles. This has got Paloma and I thinking about hosting a Christmas party, of course...fancy dress-up! Turn my lil house into a winter wonderland and bake til my hearts content with yule logs and mountains of mince pies! Oh god, i'm getting carried away aren't I ... oops, we've still got November to get through first :)

Speak to you all soon my loves, Jess xxx

Hey all,

Picture heavy post time (had to be done, to make up for our absence of fashiony posts!) Yesterday me and Jess were invited to attend the opening of Mascotte's flagship store in Westfield, London. It was definitely not an opportunity to be missed as with the cold weather creeping in we were desperate to get our AW13 fix! And we were in for a treat.

For those who aren't familiar with the brand, Mascotte is a luxury shoes and accessories store, with pricing lying somewhere between Office and Russell and Bromley it's worth a look. Definitely a pit stop if you are looking for some warm, furry boots that will last you through the winter! (um yes please). It was a really fun event, made even better with some complimentary bubbly and the best shortbread biscuits I have ever eaten!

There's this tune I found that makes me think of you somehow, and I play it on repeat until I fall asleep

Dress- Primark, Wedges- TK Maxx, Bag- Forever 21

Here are some pictures taken on a trip to Malaga. Rather embarrassing there seemed to be an abundance of lemon trees, so lets just say I fitted right in... joking aside despite looking like a walking plant this dress is my absolute favourite for summer :)

Jess went off to Reading festival today- wellies on feet and umbrella in hand- so she's in for a fab weekend! Perhaps due to my own lack of festival blues I have been listening to music a lot lately- even more than usual- in particular the Arctic Monkeys. They have been playing on constant repeat as I continue my university search- its all happening too fast!

Check out their latest single Why'd you only call me when your high? (if only just to check out the video, its so bizarre!)

Stay with the pace, every drop that i'm touching, leaves a bittersweet taste...

♫ Neon Truth - Various Cruelties

Hey my lovelies :)

'Wow, the weather is so nice' ... is what I was saying yesterday. Well unfortunately we're back to damp old England with only an occasional peek of sun through the full grey clouds which covered the rare blue sky.

As on a Wednesday,  Paloma and I have a hour free of lessons, we always like to grab a coffee and get on with some hard core revision.

Today was slightly different as we were practising our 'Head of Sixth Form' speech as we both applied as a duo, typical us!! We'll tell you how it goes :)

Here's a quick post of our outfits, I wore a peplum with cute kahki shoes and Paloma wore a black a-line skirt which is perfect for this unpredictable weather.

Laugh until we think we'd die, barefoot on a summer night, never could be sweeter than with you

♫ Home - Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros

Hey all of you beauties :)

How are we all enjoying the summer sun? isn't it lush! This is just a really really quick post as Paloma and I are both up to our eyeballs in work and revision for our AS level exams. Do any of you remember your exams? ...and more importantly, the procrastination and ridiculous amounts of stress that came with them.

Today, it was Paloma's first day of her art exam, which is of course very stressful for her, but she is literally and modern day blend of Gogh and Da Vinci...female version, so she'll be fine.

Also, we have GIGS to go to...Everything Everything, Bastille and The Feeling in October and The 1975 in January. Yes it feels like ages away but woohooo, we'll keep you posted :)
Love you loads, Jess xxx

Hey everyone,

We were lucky enough to be invited to see the Feeling at an intimate gig in Hackney. The Feeling have been a favourite band of mine for years and the chance to see them perform new songs and to meet and chat to them so so surreal but amazing all the same! Me and Jess had orginally brought tickets to their tour in April, which was then moved to October so we get to see them twice in one year yay! The gig also brought us back to Hackney, a place that we are always keen to explore, but whenever Hackney is involved we ALWAYS seem to get lost, lost to the point where you actually start getting a bit panicky and stressed, and can be seen wandering the streets laughing nervously but we found the studio in the end and it was well worth all the initial confusion and panic. The weather here has been all over the place recently, so we both sported trans- seasonal looks, Jess wearing a long sleeved lace dress and me some wedges that havn't seen the light of day in about or year or so, oh how I love rediscovering old jems!

Loads of love, Paloma xxx
