I'd flee this town, i'd bed my dreams underground...

Beirut - Elephant Gun

Hey guys!
So this is our last post for a while now. It's sad but needed as we're both heading off to University. Well, Paloma's already there and has been for a long while and i'm missing my partner in crime stupidly. I'm leaving in exactly a week today so I'm excited but not looking forward to the long car journey and most of all leaving my cosy home for a new 'family' and cold small uni room.

This week is a bit of a hectic one for me, with all this packing and having a complete life change but it's nothing compared to how Paloma's freshers went. From seeing Scouting for Girls to going clubbing every night, my little chick was super exhausted at the end of Freshers Week. But now she's hard at work going to lectures and has already been assigned her first essay :/

My life is pretty chilled other than the idea of Uni approaching quickly. Going out with my favourite people and waving old friends good bye, its been great and really made me realise what I will miss in Lancaster.

So as our final post...not really final...but you know what I'm trying to say, thanks followers, good luck with everything you're all up to and speak to you all soon.

Hey all,

So we managed to sneakily snap these photos in a rare glimpse of sun in-between torrential downpours today! We are ploughing though our second week of sixth form ever (ekk). We have both been at our school for the full seven years so the thought of leaving is both exciting and slightly terrifying. Well if I don't get into uni I am definitely going to go searching for a job which involves food (read:cakes) as after English lit and art it is up there with my main passions in life ;)

Good luck to everyone doing exams, we will both be finished ours in just over a month so freedom is in sight finally!

Did anyone else watch Eurovision on the weekend? It is definitely my favourite guilty pleasure, although it doesn't come as a surprise considering I love anything slightly cheesy or musical, so the combination of the two is a winner for me!

Loads of love, Paloma

Hi there!
Another apology for lack of posts, they seem to be getting quite regular :(
We've both been knuckling down to revise over the last month, but by the 16th of June, it'll be over for both of us, we cannot wait!

We've also been organising our joint 18th, although Paloma's Birthday in August, and mine was in April, we had to have a party together.
If you've read our blog for a little while, you'll be able to see that we love fancy dress and spend weeks in prep for our costumes. After much deliberating, we decided on a Fairytale theme, this includes Disney, Hans Christian Anderson tales and Grimm Brothers tales! It sounds like an 8th party not an 18th.

Today we took a break from revision to start getting our costumes together. Paloma is going as Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notredame and I'm going as Thumbelina (the traditional character, not the disney, they ruined that for me)
What would you guys go as?

Lots of love, Jess xxx

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay in posts, we've both been ill recently so haven't had a chance to take any snaps. Also, i'm in rehearsals for my drama A2 practical examination which is on Thursday, therefore have been roaming around in my trackies a lot, which doesn't blog too well.

The sun came out again today, which was a lovely change from chilly and humid weather. We both got our dresses out again, Paloma's teamed with a leather jacket - a smart move to layer when you live in London. I on the other hand went full on summer and dragged out the sunglasses which haven't seen a blog post yet - I love raiding my mum's wardrobe :)

Some exciting news for us, we have got the contract through for our prom! It's all sorted, now all we need is for everyone to pay up and start committing to it! We are both so excited to get dressed up, typical girls.

I hope you're all well,
Jess xxx

P.S - We've been invited to lots of blogging events in the Easter hols, keep checking the blog for future posts.

 Hey Guys,
So Spring is here, sun is out and we're loving the spell of gorgeous weather… or so we thought. Today we both came into school thinking it was going to be yet another glorious day in London Town, we were wrong. Dressed in skimpy chiffon and jersey, thank goodness we decided to wear opaque tights, we were freezing as we had to battle with the elements dressed like it was summer!

It's a serious problem us girls have to deal with, to brave a dress or not to brave a dress, boys luckily don't have that dilemma. Fingers crossed the warm sunshine will be upon us very soon, we've started to miss it already.

All this talk of summer is getting Paloma and I really excited about our holiday this year. A load of us are of to Benicassim festival in Spain and during the little study breaks we have, we're browsing the internet looking for skimpy bikinis and shorts to brave the heat, especially when camping! Wish us luck

 Hey guys,
So we've both been under a lot of stress recently, prom is finally coming together after an entire day frantically calling venues (with pancake intervals), coursework stresses and of course the social and work life balance. Does anyone have any de-stress tips? we definitely need some help :)

The only thing getting us through the pressure is the beautiful british blue skies. Finally the sun is poking through the clouds and we can see some rays…oops don't want to jinx it!
Have any of you got any days out planned in the sunshine? I'm off to Liverpool for my LIPA recall audition this weekend, so its highly possible that I might completely miss it :(

Happy Shrove Tuesday by the way! Pancakes are so easy and of course tasty, i've had 10 in total, i'm so gonna regret it, but they were lush while they lasted. Paloma and I had an early start today so for fuel for a busy day we flipped some pancakes to some 80's tunes, perfect wake-up routine.

Hey everyone,

Its nearly Friday, yay! Here is another outfit post from a usual day in Sixth form. This is definitely a comfy outfit of mine but I had a full day of art so can you blame me? I am not even sure that the jumper and skirt go together at all, so I apologise...

In other news Festival season is slowly approaching and lots of line ups are being announced. Jess and I are off to Benicassim in the summer with a group of friends and some of the acts have just been announced. So far we are looking forward to the 1975, Kodaline, Jake Bugg, Tame Impala and Lily Allen (I mean her songs are so catchy, I can't help it!)

Has anyone else thought about plans for summer?

Lots of love,

Paloma xxx

Hey guys!

The Christmas countdown has officially begun and what better time to kick start the festive posts on ...cos it's the bee's knees than today! Because-sorry to be cheesy- but Christmas time really is the bee's knees!

These are some photos taken on Friday when Jess and I made a spontaneous visit to Oxford Street for a teeny but of shopping, but more importantly, to make our first trip to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. I cannot describe just how excited we were whilst walking around the stalls and rides. Children on Christmas morning doesn't even do it justice!

If you are needing some festive spirit there is no better place to go. With the bright lights, sweets and waft of waffles and mulled wine, its Christmas in a park!

Loads of love, Paloma
