Hey all!
Hope you enjoyed the latest post, we are finally back to blogging and on a roll :) Benicassim festival was amazing and I am still clinging onto all the memories that were made there! Jake Bugg was a favourite of mine, he was amazing live and 'Broken' was so emotional, it was one of my favourite moments of the holiday. Hence why I have gone all Jake Bugg on you guys with the title (sorry you can probably tell I still have a serious case of holiday blues!)
These photos were taken on a trip out to dinner with our friend Hannah, we went to Giraffe and it was soo good, I would definitely recommend the veggie burrito, it was literally heaven on a plate...
Lots of love,

Do you still feel younger than you thought you would by now

Jess | Top- Miss Selfridge | Shoes- Topshop | Skirt- DIY | Necklace- Gift |

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the slightly melancholic title, it was just too appropriate not to use. Its a lyric from my favourite Arctic Monkeys song, of whom we will both be seeing come Saturday at Finsbury Park (the thought of Alex Turner within reach is a little too much to handle), and also, today was our last of sixth form ever, and I definitely feel too young to be leaving my school and friends of seven years behind. On a less sad note we still have prom to look forward to after exams so we'll be seeing everyone again very soon :)

The sunny weather spell is not so sunny anymore but we are hoping it will brighten up again so we can take more summery outfit photos like this one!

Have a great week!

Loads of love,

My house in Budapest, my hidden treasure chest…

Hey all!!
What a beautiful weekend it's been, well in the UK anyway :) We've both been pretty much housebound due to revision, which always kills the mood, but we still both get out into the garden to attempt to catch some rays.

It's our last week of school this week, which bring some form of joy, but also so much sadness as we will both miss it so much, oh yeah and means that exams are too close now. We both turned up to school in again accidentally coordinating outfits. I am loving the bohemian/hippy/festival look at the moment and have bagged myself numerous pairs of comfy harem pants to wear at Benicassim this year.  We styled the harem style trousers, these are both fairly smart and tapered as harems go, with crop tops. This would probably be the only rule, don't wear a severely oversized tshirt with these trousers or it will probably swamp you.

Anyway, we're both really excited for the last day as it's a tradition that the whole year dresses up in their old school uniform, to reminisce over the good old days. Also, we're both so terrible at procrastinating and always end up looking at prom hair and make up tutorials on Youtube, have you guys got any good ideas???

Speak to you soon, Jess xxx

And we lie drunkenly just staring at the stars...

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay in posts, we've both been ill recently so haven't had a chance to take any snaps. Also, i'm in rehearsals for my drama A2 practical examination which is on Thursday, therefore have been roaming around in my trackies a lot, which doesn't blog too well.

The sun came out again today, which was a lovely change from chilly and humid weather. We both got our dresses out again, Paloma's teamed with a leather jacket - a smart move to layer when you live in London. I on the other hand went full on summer and dragged out the sunglasses which haven't seen a blog post yet - I love raiding my mum's wardrobe :)

Some exciting news for us, we have got the contract through for our prom! It's all sorted, now all we need is for everyone to pay up and start committing to it! We are both so excited to get dressed up, typical girls.

I hope you're all well,
Jess xxx

P.S - We've been invited to lots of blogging events in the Easter hols, keep checking the blog for future posts.

I sit and pine for wasted time

Hey all,

February is both the shortest and longest month of the year for me. It is so cold here in London and the novelty of winter clothes and layering is starting to wear off, so Spring couldn't look any more appealing!

Jess and I are going to a Fire and Ice themed party in a couple of weeks and we have no clue what to wear. We both love a good dress up theme but this one is proving a challenge. Would Elsa from Frozen be a little over the top (read: socially acceptable)? Frozen was amazing, I literally want to be her.

I'm guessing a Disney themed party for our joint 18th may be out of the question too?

Lots of love,
Paloma

Hello lovelies :)

How are you all? We've had a less than eventful couple of days due to the amount of work heaping up but hopefully they'll be a couple more interesting posts lined up soon!
Here is another day at sixth form, houndstooth is on trend this season but i'm hoping to purchase some gingham for the spring-time as checks are a major trend!

I'm really getting into my DIY clothes at the moment, it's my main procrastination technique, probably not a very good thing as it takes up a lot of my time :) I'm getting into the swing of making skater skirts, as soon as i've cracked an easy method i'll pop it on the blog so that you can all save pounds on a new skirt!
If any of you have any requests for posts let us know, we'd love to hear your ideas :)

Lots of love, Jess xxx

Hey all,

Ahh, today is a milestone for us, this is our two hundredth post on ...Cos it's The Bee's Knees. Which amounts to thousands of photos, lovely comments from you guys, awkward poses and general waffling from us two! It is also our two year blog birthday next month- can't promise we won't bake a cake. There is always an excuse for cake.

So these photos were taken on Oxford Street whilst out shopping yesterday; posing on the islands is becoming a bit of a pastime of ours. We had a gorgeous brunch at Bill's (officially the first brunch of my life and I am never looking back!) before braving some shops. It was so nice and made me realise my love of London again, I will miss it if I leave for university this year!

Loads of love, Paloma xxx
