Tryin' to find a diamond in an avalanche

Hey all,

So these photos were taken on a recent trip to the river when Jess and I did some last minute English revision for our A level exam (which was yesterday!). I have literally been a recluse for the past few weeks so it was nice to get a change of scenery and study out by the river! It was all very pastoral and countrylike ironically keeping to the theme of our Literature topic this year of the Pastoral. Looking forward to more sunny trips to the river (and beach) when all exams are over! :)

Lots of love, Paloma

Hey all,

So we managed to sneakily snap these photos in a rare glimpse of sun in-between torrential downpours today! We are ploughing though our second week of sixth form ever (ekk). We have both been at our school for the full seven years so the thought of leaving is both exciting and slightly terrifying. Well if I don't get into uni I am definitely going to go searching for a job which involves food (read:cakes) as after English lit and art it is up there with my main passions in life ;)

Good luck to everyone doing exams, we will both be finished ours in just over a month so freedom is in sight finally!

Did anyone else watch Eurovision on the weekend? It is definitely my favourite guilty pleasure, although it doesn't come as a surprise considering I love anything slightly cheesy or musical, so the combination of the two is a winner for me!

Loads of love, Paloma

Hey everyone,

Its nearly Friday, yay! Here is another outfit post from a usual day in Sixth form. This is definitely a comfy outfit of mine but I had a full day of art so can you blame me? I am not even sure that the jumper and skirt go together at all, so I apologise...

In other news Festival season is slowly approaching and lots of line ups are being announced. Jess and I are off to Benicassim in the summer with a group of friends and some of the acts have just been announced. So far we are looking forward to the 1975, Kodaline, Jake Bugg, Tame Impala and Lily Allen (I mean her songs are so catchy, I can't help it!)

Has anyone else thought about plans for summer?

Lots of love,

Paloma xxx

There's no place I'd rather be

No place I rather be | Clean Bandit
Paloma | Dress- New Look | Jumper- Vera Moda | Boots- H&M | Bag- TK Maxx
Jess | Top, Jeans, Boots- Topshop | Bag, Coat - Miss Selfridge
Hey all,
We had a free day yesterday which was so nice! We had an overdue catch up over coffee and then went down to the river to shoot some outfit photos, oh so pastoral (cheeky A Level Literature reference there).

We also finally got round to booking our summer holiday (typical unorganised us!). As we will all be off to university in October (ahh) we wanted to have a group holiday with all our friends. We are off to Benicassim festival in Spain and are now eagerly awaiting the line up! (...The Maccabees and Paolo Nutini if you please)
Has anyone started planning their summer yet?

Loads of love, Paloma

P.S
I am a little bit obsessed with this song at the moment. We saw Clean Bandit supporting Bastille at the 02 Brixton and they were amazing, definitely worth a look!

Hey guys!

The Christmas countdown has officially begun and what better time to kick start the festive posts on ...cos it's the bee's knees than today! Because-sorry to be cheesy- but Christmas time really is the bee's knees!

These are some photos taken on Friday when Jess and I made a spontaneous visit to Oxford Street for a teeny but of shopping, but more importantly, to make our first trip to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. I cannot describe just how excited we were whilst walking around the stalls and rides. Children on Christmas morning doesn't even do it justice!

If you are needing some festive spirit there is no better place to go. With the bright lights, sweets and waft of waffles and mulled wine, its Christmas in a park!

Drunken satellites in the orbit of our earth

I'm begging you not to go- Tired Pony
Paloma wears: Dress- Primark, Boots- H&M, Jumper- TK Maxx
Jess wears: Dress and Cardi- New Look, Shoes- Topshop, Snood- River Island

Hey everyone!

November is nearly over- where does the time go?! Jess and I are starting to look more like twins than ever before, both walking into school today (coincidently) sporting fur headbands, but who cares when you are so snug! Plus my ears always freeze so a furry headband is a must have on my winter wish list. Jess has also invested in this gorgeous furry snood from River Island...oh so snug!

What has everyone been watching lately? We are off to see 'Catching Fire' on Wednesday, but as we both cried a little (read: hysterically) at the first film we are a little worried there may be a repeat! Has anyone seen it yet? Tissues needed?

Loads of love, Paloma xxx
