Never thought that I would grow so old of seeing the gold...

My Outfit - Shorts - Miss Selfridge, Pumps + Bag + Purse - Primark, Belt - Betsy Johnson, Jumper - Topshop
Paloma's Outfit - Skirt - Primark, Top - H&M, Wedges - Deichmann, Bag - Forever 21
Hey Guys!
So, yesterday was a bit of a weird day, we had to pop into Sixth Form to register for the next year - which starts on Monday. It was a tad pointless but nevertheless it was nice to see everyone again :)
After we were done, I was invited to a drinks meet up with the group I went to Reading Festival with, it  was so lovely to see everyone after they'd showered and weren't hungover :)

Here is a lil bag and purse set which I bagged the other day from Primark!! It looks so much more expensive than it was and reminds me of a Mary Poppins bag as it fits so much in! Red is THE colour of the season, whether its in Tartan or Aran Knit Jumpers and I just can't get enough of it!

We were also at a Charity Blogger Event for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, it was such an eye opener and pics up soon :)
Love you all, Jess xxx

Go down to the sea, and tell me what it is that you wanna be...

Kimono - Primark, Vest - H&M, Bikini - Next, Shorts - Baleno Blue Vintage

Hey all!
So, i'm finally on the last of my holiday snaps! This was pre-surf in Cornwall when it was the perfect day to grab some waves due to extreme wind which didn't pair well with my outfit choice of a kimono...oh well, at least it looked good :)

Also, here are a few disposable photos from Reading Festival which I had developed. These are the 'tame' pics where i'm alive enough to be able to look at a camera lens :) I had the most amazing time with the most amazing bunch of people and i'm already missing it terribly! Although Reading was a week ago, i'm still feeling really rough and haven't quite recovered from sleep deprivation.
Anyone considering Reading Festival next year, DO IT!!! It's so much fun and the line up is always amazing! Alt J, Dog is Dead, Spector, Chase and Status, Skrillex, Tribes, Frightened Rabbit, Swim Deep, The 1975, and of course Bastille... wow the list is endless!!!

Speak soon lovelies, Jess xxx

There's this tune I found that makes me think of you somehow, and I play it on repeat until I fall asleep

Dress- Primark, Wedges- TK Maxx, Bag- Forever 21

Here are some pictures taken on a trip to Malaga. Rather embarrassing there seemed to be an abundance of lemon trees, so lets just say I fitted right in... joking aside despite looking like a walking plant this dress is my absolute favourite for summer :)

Jess went off to Reading festival today- wellies on feet and umbrella in hand- so she's in for a fab weekend! Perhaps due to my own lack of festival blues I have been listening to music a lot lately- even more than usual- in particular the Arctic Monkeys. They have been playing on constant repeat as I continue my university search- its all happening too fast!

Check out their latest single Why'd you only call me when your high? (if only just to check out the video, its so bizarre!)

Loads of love, Paloma xxx

Why do the stars fall at night? Well, are you here?...

Awkward - San Cisco

As you know, i'm off to Reading Festival this year, which means festival fashion planning time! Here are my brainstorms...tell me what you think!

Gotta check the forecast, throw away my skateboard...

  Max Can't Surf - Fidlar

Hey my lovelies :)
Oh my gosh! It's sunny, like actually hot, summery, sun! This calls for celebration, so stay checking the blog for summer fiestas and barbeques...and lots and lots of Pimms!

So, Paloma is leaving me again, I know, she's just got back, but tomorrow she's hopping on a flight to New York all alone (BRAVE) , courtesy of the 'Young Leaders Award'. Basically Paloma is just so perfect, ridiculously smart  and also creative and a 'credit to the school', she has been chosen to attend a business trip to meet lots of lovely new people from all over the world. So, expect some fancy workwear posts ft. the famous yellow taxis :) I'm gonna miss her stupidly!

The blog is going to be bursting at the striped borders with posts this summer. I'm off to Rome this year with my sister for a girly holiday. I've been to Rome before when I was 7 but I genuinely can't remember any of it so i'm basically going to a completely new place and i'm ridiculously excited.

Paloma is wearing - Dress (worn as skirt) - Primark, Top - Zara, Shoes - Primark
I am wearing - Sunglasses - Primark, Crop - New Look, Dungaree Dress - Topshop, Shoes - Topshop

Also, i've just bought my Reading Festival ticket - I know I left it a bit late, but I couldn't bear seeing so much money leaving my bank account. Unfortunately Paloma can't come so i'll be scanning in my photos from my disposable camera and showing you what I get up to. I'm so excited to see Alt - J, Bastille, The 1975, Haim, Peace, Swim Deep, Spashh, Wavves, Fidlar, Spector, Twin Atlantic, Palma Violets, Imagine Dragons, Deap Vally, Tame Impala....aaargh so many more!

Anyway, back to Earth, here is a quick lil post of our outfits on Paloma's last day of Sixth Form, I have a week left :( It almost seems like a blast from the past, beachy drawing prints and bright primary colours, and of course a trusty dungaree dress! I grabbed this one in the Topshop sale, originally £38, I got it for £10 ! Bargain queen right here :)

Have you got any plans for summer?? Come along and say hi at Reading if you see me :)
Love you all, Jess xxx
