I saw you blink and I missed your eyes, your blue eyes...

I Saw You Blink - Stornoway

Hey Guys!
Speedy tartan post! Paloma and I telepathically agreed to wear our tartan pieces yesterday and have now created 'Tartan Tuesday'…don't ask. We love out tartan items, probably because we wish we were Scottish and had an epic accent, unfortunately we don't, but we are Londoners, woooo city girls :)

Rant over, definitely buy a piece of tartan before its too late, spring is on its way, although you'd never think it, and tartan isn't a springtime look, gingham and dogtooth yes, tartan we doubt it.
Anyway, have a great rest of the week and a fab Valentine's Day
Lots of love, Jess

There's things i'd like to say to you, when you're back in Liverpool...

♫ Back in Liverpool - The Hummingbirds

Hey you lovely lot!
So sorry posts have been a tad sparse, we've both been super stressed about exams, prom planning and uni interviews, but for the moment, we're back on track :) So, one on the reasons that my post is a lil' late, is that I took a cheeky day trip to Liverpool with my sister on Friday. It was literally such an amazing trip and the most beautiful city, I would never have guessed it!

After doing a spot of shopping, as if i could resist, the highstreet seems to go on for miles, don't even get me started on the vintage shops, I was invited for an audition to study Acting at LIPA university (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts), which was such a privilege as it is such a sought after uni. After monologue after monologue, and workshop after workshop, my day at LIPA was over and I had done all I could do….Fliss and I went for a cheeky pint in the local pub, luuusssshhhh!

If any of you get the chance, visit Liverpool! It's such a gorgeous city and worth a look, even if it is to make friends with the super-friendly locals.

Jumper and skirt- Primark, Boots- Topshop, Tights-New Look, Snood-Miss Selfridge

Hey everyone,

With winter slapping us in the face all of a sudden and brisk winds catching us off guard we have been loving some of the more snugly of AW13 trends, in particular knitwear. Jess matched her grey snood to some chunky knitted tights from New Look., which she thought were too out there but I definitely disagree! I went with some trusty tartan, to be honest I look like a school girl but it was quite nice pretending to be back in uniform for the day! Sometimes I miss not having to think up new outfits everyday, but that wish doesn't last!

Ahh so excited! Arctic Monkeys have announced two dates for London next year, we are treating ourselves as we have never seen them live before. Anyone been to any good gigs recently?!

Loads of love, Paloma

It started all in early September, when my god given little became a lot older...

I think you've all guessed the theme of this post right. So, Tartan is a HUMUNGOUS trend this AW13. Whether it's with a punky vibe pairing it with a leather jacket and biker boots, or going for a cutesy schoolgirl look, any type of check is bang on trend!
All you have to do is look at the catwalks to see what a huge tartan has had on the fashion industry this season. Mulberry, Prada, Celine...the list is literally endless!
Due to this, I decided to grab a pair of smart tartan trousers for sixth form, as today it was our first day back. I wasn't very keen on the bright red tartan, so i went for a more subtle green and navy check. Whereas Paloma has brought back her trusty vintage tartan scarf to add an edge to her look.
If I have one tip for you it would be to 'get some tartan in your life!'
Loads of love, Jess xxxx

Never thought that I would grow so old of seeing the gold...

My Outfit - Shorts - Miss Selfridge, Pumps + Bag + Purse - Primark, Belt - Betsy Johnson, Jumper - Topshop
Paloma's Outfit - Skirt - Primark, Top - H&M, Wedges - Deichmann, Bag - Forever 21
Hey Guys!
So, yesterday was a bit of a weird day, we had to pop into Sixth Form to register for the next year - which starts on Monday. It was a tad pointless but nevertheless it was nice to see everyone again :)
After we were done, I was invited to a drinks meet up with the group I went to Reading Festival with, it  was so lovely to see everyone after they'd showered and weren't hungover :)

Here is a lil bag and purse set which I bagged the other day from Primark!! It looks so much more expensive than it was and reminds me of a Mary Poppins bag as it fits so much in! Red is THE colour of the season, whether its in Tartan or Aran Knit Jumpers and I just can't get enough of it!

We were also at a Charity Blogger Event for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, it was such an eye opener and pics up soon :)
Love you all, Jess xxx

Hey all!

Wooo this should be the last that you hear of exams in a while as they are over! Now all our attention can be on the blog and summer- can't wait! These pictures were taken last Thursday when me and Jess met up for a day full of Gatsby and Pride and Prejudice and a mountain of stress revising for our English literature exam the following day. After a couple of hours revision at mine we decided to go for an impromptu picnic- complete with a tartan blanket, guacamole and French bread (what more could you ask for!) however our food heaven was cut short by a sudden shower of rain by which point we retreated to the library for yet more revision!

I learnt two things that day, food is the answer to all and never ever match your scarf to the picnic blanket as you end up looking like a complete idiot! Lesson learnt :)

Lots of love, Paloma xxx

I'm playing with a dangerous flame again, and i'm happy as can be when you are gone....

♫ Show me - Team me

Hellooooo :)

Some exams are now out of the way, which is such a relief and it feels like a weight the size of an elephant has been lifted off my shoulders, but unfortunately, four elephant-sized exams are approaching very quickly, but determined not to get crushed, Paloma and I are powering through with caffeine and stress.

The only thing getting us through exam is The Company Blogger Awards Ceremony, which takes place on the 29th of May, which we are both on the guest list to. Outfit planning can be so distracting and find myself scrolling though numerous retailers for possible choices, So excited!

Wish us luck on English Lit Exam tomorrow :*)

Love you all, Jess xxx
