Little Darling, it feels like years since it's been here, here comes the sun...

 Hey Guys,
So a couple of posts back I said went to Liverpool to audition for LIPA (a performing arts uni/drama school) and I received a recall. Well, this weekend just gone was the weekend I could become a tourist again in one of my favourite cities.

I had such a fun time roaming the streets taking numerous snaps with my Olympus Epm-1 round my neck and having a blast in movement, acting, vocal and speech workshops in LIPA itself.
Although I received a place on LIPA's foundation course, I realised it wasn't for me and i'd much prefer university - Exeter or Lancaster, decisions decisions!

It was such a lovely sunny weekend spent with my lovely parents who I dragged along, as they 'had to see the city', which I kept on reminding them since my last visit.

I definitely recommend visiting Liverpool even if its just for the amazing architecture or numerous shops - yes, I managed to find plenty of 'zen' shops :)

Lots of love, Jess xxx

Jess - Blouse - H&M | Skirt - River Island | Shoes and Belt - Topshop

 Hey Guys!
Hope you're all well, here is a quick post from when we booked a visit to Roehampton to view a possible prom venue called Parkstead House. Its was beautiful, the grounds were absolutely incredible, therefore we couldn't resist taking a few OOTDs as it was a crisp winter's day, with a touch of sunshine! We both decided to wear our pleather skirts (telepathic besties) as we are both vegetarians, no leather allowed!

Monochrome is a huge trend this season which will feature on many of the london catwalks, we definitely urge you all to buy a pleather skirt, you'll get much wear out if it :)

Speak to you all soon, Jess xxx

Worldwide Wardrobe

Hey everyone,

We thought we would have a go at entering Travel Supermarket's competition, Worldwide Wardrobe, reason being we love creating outfits so much and if there is a chance of winning a holiday we don't need any more convincing!

We created four outfits, hope you enjoy!

Lots of love, Paloma and Jess xxx

Sightseeing in Paris- £186.57

We wanted to channel Parisian chic through this outfit, clean cut and classic, starting with a canvas of blue and white, and accessorising with complimenting bright red accessories and statement lip and necklace

Jeans Shoes Bag Earrings Necklace Nails Hat Shirt

Shopping in London- £192

Shopping can be so tiring so we wanted to create a light and comfy outfit whilst also hitting some of the season's key trends. This gorgeous floral printed playsuit is the perfect solution and will get you through the hustle and bustle of oxford street whilst also proving useful in the windy and unpredictable British weather! Plus flat edgy boots for all that walking!

Earrings Sunnies Playsuit Shoes Bag

Partying in Ibiza- £186.47

This outfit is all about the neon, because there is no better time to kick out the brights than a party! The pops of pink and yellow add further fun to the outfit and the small bag is perfect for a girl's essentials. Also, wedges over heels, they still give you the height but are so much more comfy, and you can dance the night away!

Top Skirt Shoes Bracelets Bag Lips

Cocktails in New York- £94.49

Monochrome has to be the most classic and stylish of all this season's trends so what better way to wear this trend than cocktails in New York! This gorgeous 1950s inspired dress with flirty lashes and white accessories is a killer combo for cocktails in the city!

They who are my army, the wall of arms around me- Twist on the Trend

Wall of arms- The Maccabees

Hey everyone! Heres the third 'Twist on the trend' to feature on our blog, this week we chose to style the A/W 2012 trend of leather, something which I previously would have been too scared to try!

Leather is huge for autumn, with everything leather from skirts to jackets popping up on the highstreet. It was a great trend to style, have a look at how the other girls styled it over on their blogs! Definitely worth a read :)

More on how we styled the trend:

Jess is wearing: Top- New Look, Leggings- H&M, Boots- Primark, Jacket- F&F
Paloma is wearing: Shirt (worn underneath)- H&M, Jumper- Mercer and Madison, Leggings- H&M, Chelsea Boots- Primark

Neither me or Jess have really attempted the leather trend before now, so were really excited to try and have a go at styling it!

Jess went for a monochrome, teaming her bold print top with boots and a leather jacket, creating a great autumn look.

I wore my leather-esque leggings and new purchase chelsea boots(I have been looking for a pair for ages!) with a collar and box jumper to give the look a more casual feel :)

How has eveyones week been? No Great British bake-off has finished- what do I do with myself on tuesday evenings now?! I think this may call for some therapy baking!
I also got the cutest little hamster last week, she is called Ayla, after one of my favourite songs by the Maccabees :)

'Shake, Rattle and Roll'

When asked what our favourite era is we always struggle to come up with an answer, the vibrant, quirky sixties, the sophisticated, elegant shapes of the 40s and the roaring twenties are never far from our minds but it has to be the vintage prints and prom dresses of the 1950s that just top it.

Maybe its the fact that throughout the era trends could range from poddle to pencil skirts and bright, bold colours to classic monochrome. Either this or the fact that I have a soft spot for the movie 'Grease' ( with its 1950s vibe and i-can't-help-but-sing-along-songs, it has to be one of my all time favourites!)  Whatever the reason, I love the fashions of the 1950s and so we thought we might have a go at recreating some of the iconic looks of the era.

It was so much fun, living in the 1950s for a day and recreating some of the stand out fashions of the era, we hope you like the photos! We took inspiration from icons of the time, in particular Audery Hepburn. Also, thank you to all the lovely comments we have been receiving lately, we really appreciate them! :) xx

Hello you beauties,
We're so sorry we haven't done a post in a while but we have had the most hectic weekend, filled with parties and concerts (which happens once in a blue moon) :)

On Friday, we were both invited to our friend Emily's 16th Birthday party. The theme was Monochrome (black and white), so we thought we would show you some of our beautiful friends and what they were wearing,
