Hey everyone!

So with the last of our holiday pics up, the new term is officially upon us (ekk). Me and Jess are going into our last year of sixth form, its weird to think that this time next year we'll be heading off to uni and moving away from home!

Last week, we were invited to a blogger breakfast by the lovely people at Avenue 32- an online luxury shopping website. Despite getting lost in Camden-yet again- we were just in time for a yummy breakfast and catch up with some fellow bloggers! We were treated to a talk about AW 2013 trends and key pieces. As you can probably tell from our outfits of choice we are really excited about the full skirt trend that we'll be seeing a lot of in the coming months.

We are really looking forward to autumn fashion, so we'll be writing a couple of posts about upcoming trends and our favourite picks from the high street soon!

Loads of love,

♫ The Killers- Read my Mind

Hey all!

This is a scheduled post as hopefully at this moment I would have arrived in sunny Spain! I am praying for Wi-Fi over there so I can fit in a couple of posts of what I get up to (I don't want to have to leave the blog for another two weeks!) Me and Jess met up with friends yesterday for an overdue catch up, it was so nice so we decided to do a teeny outfit post! While crazily trying to pack today I found this old jem from last summer, I love the retro feel of it, and I have a feeling it will be finding its way into my suitcase...

Hope everyone is having a fab holiday!

Loads of love,

'Shake, Rattle and Roll'

When asked what our favourite era is we always struggle to come up with an answer, the vibrant, quirky sixties, the sophisticated, elegant shapes of the 40s and the roaring twenties are never far from our minds but it has to be the vintage prints and prom dresses of the 1950s that just top it.

Maybe its the fact that throughout the era trends could range from poddle to pencil skirts and bright, bold colours to classic monochrome. Either this or the fact that I have a soft spot for the movie 'Grease' ( with its 1950s vibe and i-can't-help-but-sing-along-songs, it has to be one of my all time favourites!)  Whatever the reason, I love the fashions of the 1950s and so we thought we might have a go at recreating some of the iconic looks of the era.

It was so much fun, living in the 1950s for a day and recreating some of the stand out fashions of the era, we hope you like the photos! We took inspiration from icons of the time, in particular Audery Hepburn. Also, thank you to all the lovely comments we have been receiving lately, we really appreciate them! :) xx
