Step- Vampire Weekend

Hey everyone!

This is my second post about my time in Barcelona- it flew by! On the night that I arrived it was the festival of San Joan. It was literally the craziest fiesta I have been to- and I have been to a fair share- People throw bangers and fireworks on the streets to warn away evil spirits. It was literally manic little kids setting off fireworks left right and centre, but pretty hilarious! All I can say is it put our 5th November fireworks in the garden to shame!

Explaining doesn't quite do it justice, a visit to Barcelona on 24th June is highly recommended!

Its Friday tomorrow what are everyone's plans for the weekend?! Anyone watching Wimbledon? (that was a silly question!)

I love this country dearly, I can feel this ladder clearly, but I never thought i'd be alone to try...

Hey :)
Happy days everyone, Paloma is back from sunny Spain!!! She just texted me saying she's landed and safe, this means more and more posts on the blog...and Spanish posts! Finally some sunshine on the blog. Talking of sunshine, us Londoners are experiencing something so alien to us, yes, higher temperatures and sunlight. This goes perfectly with Wimbledon, and I have to admit i've already had my fair share of strawberries and cream, whoever thought of that combo is a genius!

Well, here is a quick post of mine and Paloma's farewell ice-creams, the day before she left for Spain. We went to a cute lil' vintage style cafe, round the corner from our sixth form (convenient!), and bought  some delicious ice-cream, yes, all home made!! Paloma got peanut butter ice-cream, how anyone can eat the stuff i'll never know, and I got the luscious salted caramel. Brings back the memories of the beach where the salty air just seems to merge with anything you eat :)

Ooh, I have some news! I'm off on work experience in a theatre, as many of you know I have a passion  for theatre and acting. I'm so excited! Also, i'm hoping to study drama at drama school (if i get in), or uni. I've been to a couple of open days but at the moment, Bristol is really on the cards. It's so quirky with all of the vintage boutiques and tea rooms. Any suggestions?

Paloma and I will speak to you very soon, loads of love, Jess xxx
